Electric Vehicle & Solar Rebate

Hailey Clean Energy Voluntary Compliance Rebate Program

It pays to go green! The City of Hailey is proud to offer developers and homeowners the opportunity to participate in a voluntary rebate program for the installation of wiring infrastructure for electric vehicles (EV) charging and solar photovoltaic (PV) energy systems. Participants in the program can receive the following rebates:

  • $1,250 for new developments of single-family homes, townhomes, substantial remodels, and ADUs associated with new construction.
  • $1,250 per ten thousand (10,000) square feet for new mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments.
  • $1,250 per twenty (20) units for new multi-family developments.

Note: Rebates are subject to city inspection of installations, either via field inspection or photo documentation.

There are numerous federal and state programs supporting solar PV and EV charging development as well. Combining these programs with the City of Hailey's rebate program is a valuable opportunity to maximize the return of your sustainability investment.
